For our postal listeners

picture of the zip postal walletThe talking news is sent out on an USB drive every Thursday in a plastic wallet by post, and usually arrives with the listener on Friday morning. You then have the weekend to listen to the news. The listeners are then asked to put the USB drives plus the address label which has to be removed first from the clear window on the front of the wallet back into the main compartment of the wallet before posting it back to us so they will arrive back in good time ready for us to wipe clean and record the next week's news. Again, there is no charge to the listener for postage.

All you need for the USB drive is a USB player, such as the sonic player or you can use your computer. If you don't have a computer or USB drive player we will loan you a sovereign or sonic player, pictured right. Both of these players are good sounding and have simple controls like on a cassette player they also allow you to jump forward and back by tracks like on a CD player plus by holding down the forward or backward buttons you can go back or forward in small steps making it easy to check phone numbers or addresses.
