So if you are interested in Reading's news, you can receive Reading's Talking Newspaper as a MP3 format on a USB flash memory drive or, over the internet every week.
The newspaper contains approximately 45 minutes of local news items from the Reading Evening Post & Reading Chronicle plus approximately 45 minutes of features and other articles, each article comes on its own track as on a LP or CD. The service costs nothing to the listener. We supply the USB drives and the postage is also free in the UK.

The talking newspaper USB drives are sent out each Friday in a plastic wallet by post, and usually arrive with the listener on Saturday morning. You then have the weekend to listen to the news. The listeners are then asked to put the USB drives back in the plastic wallet, remove the label & then put it in the post on the following week so they will arrive back in good time ready for wiping clean and re-recording the next week's news. Again, there is no charge to the listener for postage.
What you need
All you need for the USB drive is a USB player, such as a boom-box, or you can use your computer. If you don't have a computer or USB drive player we will loan you a Art Dio USB flash memory player.
